Side Effects of Risperdal
to High Risk Patients
There are deadly and serious side effects of
Risperdal, including stroke, blood clots, hemorrhages, neuroleptic malignant
syndrome, in addition to other adverse effects. Some patients
may have a high risk of suffering Risperdal side effects and
should remain cautious. No studies have indicated the level of safety
for Risperdal patients that are pregnant, breast-feeding, or in children.
Since Risperdal has only been approved for the treatment
of schizophrenia symptoms, patients should fully consider the risk of
using Risperdal. There have also been various clinical studies showing
there is an increased risk of Alzheimer’s patients using Risperdal to
suffer stroke, stroke-like events, or to die. Since Risperdal labeling
has clearly stated there is no evidence that Risperdal is safe or effective
in treating dementia, patients may want to reconsider their treatment
options.
It appears the wider range of conditions Risperdal
is being prescribed to treat may instead be hurting the patients even
more and exposing them to grater risk of suffering serious adverse effects.
